Quality Degree Apprenticeship

Finished school and looking for a smart route to a career in Quality? Or perhaps you’re looking to change career? Either way, our Quality Degree Apprenticeship is a great next step. It’s a four-year programme designed to equip you with the skills you need to drive production standards in our factories and will earn you a degree in the process—all without you accruing a penny in student debt. Where better to start your Quality career than here at the biggest food and drink manufacturer on the planet?

You’ll split your time between our factory near Carlisle and Nottingham Trent University. In the factory, our experts will support you through on-the-job training that will see you take on various roles and deliver live projects that have a real impact on Quality at our business. At uni, you’ll learn about the wider aspects of working at a multinational company and work towards your degree. It’s a combination designed to get you up to speed quickly so you’re able to think for yourself and generally smash it when the time comes to do the role for real.

We’re looking for people who want a rewarding career with a global business. You’ll need at least 104 UCAS points (or 260 points from 2017 or previous) and Maths and English Language GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 (A*-C if taken before 2017). Just as important is to be full of energy and enthusiasm for learning. We want to meet people who will see this opportunity for what it is—a chance to build a career with a company where there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

Applicants must be 18 by the 1st of September 2024 and have the right to work in the UK that is not time limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.

The Quality Degree Apprenticeship is running in Dalston, near Carlilse.

Need to relocate? Talk to us about how we can support you.

Start date: September 2024.

About Nestle

We’re Nestlé. The largest food and drink manufacturer in the world. Sounds impressive? Well when you take an even closer look, it’ll blow you away! Starting life more than 150 years ago when Henri Nestlé created his first cereal, we now have more than 2,000 products that we sell in 189 countries. We’re talking the likes of KitKat, Nescafé and Felix – brands so well known and loved, they’ve become a major feature in everyday life!

Having led the way globally on creating delicious food and drinks, we’re aiming to do the same in other areas important to us. And that’s why we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact to zero and to improving the lives of the 30 million livelihoods connected to our organisation. It’s all about inspiring people to live better, healthier lives, not only by improving our products, but also by putting something back – helping out community partners, farmers and generally making what we do more sustainable and beneficial for all. If you get out what you put in, then it makes sense to give back too! No brainer really.

And it’s not just our many products that we carefully source the right mix of ingredients for. The same goes for our Early Careers programmes. We blend individuals from all walks of life, with a whole range of experience and they work together as a team – really, really hard – and out come amazing results. That’s how we became a world leading business. And that’s how we attract the most curious minds to our team. Because they know, that at Nestlé, they’ll be given loads of support, so they can be the best they can be. Fancy experiencing that too? Find out what it takes and apply for 2020 today.
