Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer / Maidenhead / £35,000 - £40,000
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer? You could be progressing your career at a prestigious motorsport company who have been pioneers within the automotive sector for the last 60 years.
Based in a busy quality department, you will work in all areas of the business to assess quality requirements and ensure all products are free from defects and in compliance with engineering and manufacturing specifications and ISO standards.
Location / Hours:
Based in Maidenhead, five days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or live locally as public transport links can be difficult, free parking available.
40 hr week (Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm)
Requirements:

• Participation in Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety projects.
• Participant of annual strategic KPI's FTT, Zero Defects.
• Internal & External complaints (NCR's & 8D's)
• Internal Auditor for Environmental/Quality Management System - ISO9001/14001:2015
• Continuous Improvement and 5S projects
• APQP - PPAP knowledge for OEM project deliverables
• Participation of supplier audits for outsourced components.
• Technical training & Toolbox talks.
• Minimum 2 years within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• GD&T knowledge in interpreting complex precision engineering drawings.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline desirable.

Salary & benefits:
As a Quality Engineer, you will earn a competitive salary (£35,000 - £40,000) plus benefits including:
