SalaryElevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing business in Newark, who have continued to see exceptional growth and are looking to expand their team in to 2024.
Reporting into the sites Global Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting the quality manager, ensuring high standards are met across the department, implementing efficiency improvements and performing root cause analysis and non conformance reporting. You will also be a point of contact for customers, providing support on quality related issues.
The Quality Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:
- Leading the review and investigation in to non conformances and take part in corrective actions.
- Schedule & conduct Internal Audits and support the preparation of documentation for ISO9001 Quality System External Audits
- Works with local and 3rd party teams to implement continuous quality improvement programs
- Respond to customer complaints to resolve customer quality issues.
- Monitor and report on Quality performance via Key Performance Indicator’s to provide management information.(eg scrap, internal and external cost of poor quality).
We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Qualified Auditor in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
- Ability to identify/find faults and offer effective solutions.
- Advanced Problem-Solving Skills.
In return, the business are looking at a salary of £40-45,000 per annum.
