Quality Engineer

A Globally recognised automotive supplier are currently looking to strengthen then quality department with the appointment of an automotive biased Quality Engineer.As Quality Engineer, you will ensure all quality requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and provide support throughout the organisation.Working form their manufacturing facility in Longbridge the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:*Maintain TS16949 quality system requirements*Apply Quality core tools to improve Customer satisfaction*Maintain and monitor the SPC management system*Create quality documentation including process flow charts, control plans and FMEA’s*Deal with any customer concerns using 8D process*Complete internal audits across TS16949 and ISO14001*Train operators in SPC and measuring systemsThe successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND with relevant automotive experience.You should be able demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in 8D, APQP, PPAP, PSWYou should have at least 5 years plus experience within the automotive industry, excellent communication skills as this role will be the direct interface between manufacturing and the client.If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of Permanent, Interim and Project Management Recruitment Solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors.Due to the overwhelming response to vacancies in this current climate, if you have not heard from us within the next two weeks you have been unsuccessful at this time
