Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Quality clinic, patients (non-conformance), processes and metric data.
- Facilitate the 8D processes to ensure robust corrective actions.
- Analyse quality clinic data and support RRCA and corrective actions
- Facilitate PFEMA activity across site.
- Liaising with customers, internal functions, and suppliers to resolve customer issues, promoting customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Support auditees to ensure effective closure of audit actions.
- Assisting the Site Quality Manager in the development, implementation, administration and auditing of the quality management system.
- Making process and procedural recommendations where required to improve overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Supporting business processes and personnel in continuous improvement activities in addition to providing information concerning product and process quality and safety performance.
- Support the business in NPI (new product introduction)
- Assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality documentation and metrics including process maps, procedures, standards, process, and product specifications.
- Review and/or update Processes, Procedures, work instruction and forms ensuring common ways of working across the business.
Key Skills/ Experiences:
- Strong manufacturing or assembly knowledge.
- Strong proven problem-Solving Skills within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Able to read, understand and interpret engineering information.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement and 5S.
- Effective communicator at all levels both verbally and written.
- Personnel Management and Teamwork Skills
- IT literate – effective use of Microsoft Office software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Quality and or Aerospace Standards ( ISO 9000, AS9100, EASA Part 21, EASA Part 145)
- Certified Quality Auditor desirable – IRCA or equivalent
- Experience of NCR disposition containment
