We are looking for an individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills and can manage their own workload under the supervisor of the Medicine Quality, Governance & Compliance Lead.
This is a multifaceted role that would suit a dynamic, approachable and positive personality. Knowledge of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework would be beneficial, as well as experience of Governance processes and confidence in using NHS IT systems.
- Support facilitation of care group incident alternative responses e.g. local, AAR’s, MDT’s, SWARM’s, RLR’s and Thematic reviews. Providing support to staff undertaking these, reviewing quality, and ensuring that action planning is effective using the SMART methodology.
- To deliver face to face training to the wider care group for incident alternative responses, utilising the HSIB training programme.
- Support the QGC Lead with the production of Datix data reports. Assisting with analysis of the care groups governance portfolio to identify trends that will support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Support the care group risk registers through monitoring of risk review deadlines ensuring these are align with Trust policy and up to date.
- To coordinate complaints responses on behalf of the care group.
- To monitor the Care Group Compliance portfolio. Providing administrative support to enable staff to undertake reviews in a timely manner.
