Job description


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who will support the development and implementation of the Governance agenda within the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Managed Clinical Services.
The post holder will work within the RMCH/MCS Quality Governance Team and have responsibility for the co-ordination of all clinical governance activity across a designated division within RMCH/MCS.
You will support the promotion and facilitation of the development of effective clinical governance, risk and assurance across the Division, including implementing the incident management process, and providing support to the Division with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the corporate Clinical Governance agenda.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about improving services for our patients and staff, and will have the ability to adapt and work within our busy and supportive multi-disciplinary team. With a proven track record in working across multi-disciplinary teams, building relationships and working effectively with others, the role will provide support and guidance to the Division in conjunction with the RMCH/MCS Quality Governance Team.
Coordinating activity including but not restricted to:
Complaints
Audit
Risk
Incident Management
Meeting organisation including agenda planning and minute taking
You will have previous experience of working within the clinical effectiveness/governance area, an ability to work flexibly and responsively to the needs of a busy the service and the wider Hospital.
