The Head of Quality Improvementfor Perinatal Services is a key role within the Women and Children’s Divisional Leadership Team (DLT). Working closely with Director of Midwifery and the Divisional Medical Director, you will be responsible for developing and disseminating throughout this focus area, a standardised approach to project methodology, documentation, training and education.

The Quality Improvement Lead for Perinatal Services will ensure that our services are engaged in continuous Quality Improvement, innovation and transformation.A highly skilled and experienced individual, able to with a track record in quality compliance and improvement. You’ll have the ability to push the boundaries or innovation and quality of care, working in partnership with colleagues across the Trust and in our partner organisations.
The post holder will provide leadership throughout the division and Trust that will create a caring, fair and open culture (in line with our values) and enable staff to perform at their best.
Working closely with the Director of Midwifery and Divisional team, to develop and disseminate throughout this focus area, a standardised approach to project methodology, documentation, training, and education.
The trust are embarking on an improvement journey with the Virginia Mason institute (VMI). There will be requirement for the post holder to undertake training and obtain VMI accreditation.
