We are recruiting to the role of Quality Improvement Officer. This is an exciting role where you will work in a team of Quality Improvement Officers and with the wider Quality & Service Continuity Team and partners to improve the quality of adult social care in North Yorkshire. This is a demanding role where you will be identifying best practice for use in working with failing providers or those where the need to improve has been identified, including a Pathway to Outstanding. You will work on site in services across North Yorkshire to support effective change. You will also be key in the process of supporting providers in their last days of trading and to ensure the safe transfer of people to alternative services. The role will involve working in challenging, and sometimes emotional, situations while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy. In this role you will work with, negotiate, and influence a range of partners within Health and Adult Services, North Yorkshire Council, other statutory and national partners, and providers to effect system wide support to improving quality.
