ARC are looking for a Parts Quality Inspector (with CMM Experience) for our client based in Stoke Mandeville.

Overall
An exceptionally skilled Parts Quality Inspector with expertise in technical inspection techniques, particularly in the context of aerospace mechanical precision engineering. The Parts Quality Inspector will serve as the guardian of quality standards, ensuring that our aerospace components and systems meet the most stringent industry requirements.
Carry out inspection of various precision machined parts using various equipment including CMM , CNC gear CMM , optical checking , con-tracer, and manual inspection equipment . Dealing with goods in inspection , first off, patrol checking and final inspections duties. Generally, operates with appreciable latitude for non-reviewed action and decision making.
Key responsibilities
• Technical Inspection expertise with strong GT&D skills
• Utilise advanced technical inspection methods to assess component and system dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
• Perform in-depth a variety of part inspection using a variety of inspection methods and tools
• Develop and eecute inspection plans, protocols and procedures
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in programming, operating and maintaining coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
• Perform intricate CMM measurements to verify precision and conformance to specifications
• Analy CMM data to identify trends, deviations and potential issues
• Metrology and inspection team leadership
• Quality Control documentation
• Understanding customer quality requirements contribute to the creation of comprehensive and detailed inspection reports, including documentation of advanced testing methodologies. ISIR , FAIR ,PPAP .
• Team member for Non-Conformance Resolution: Investigate complex non-conformances, root causes, and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Implement advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D) for continuous improvement.
About you
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical inspection experience in aerospace mechanical precision engineering.
• Proficiency in advanced technical inspection methods, and specialized metrology techniques.
• Strong GD&T skills.
• Expertise in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry regulations, including AS9100 an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Level III), metrology, and quality management are highly desirable.
