What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a leading specialist in the manufacturing of precision-engineered components. Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their inspection department and are therefore looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.
Located at their site in Nottingham, you will be working alongside talented engineers on modern, up to date machinery, testing yourself against challenging intricate parts and materials. As a Quality Inspector you will be able to perform detailed inspection of precision components in line with customer and industry specifications, ensuring component conformity.
What experience do you need?
- Strong quality inspection background
- Ability to perform inspection activities (both visual and dimensional) using manual measuring equipment
- Experience of carrying out First off and Final Inspection
- Confidence identifying non-confirming products
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of manual and CNC Machines - ability to operate would be advantageous
- Able to operate CMM's
- Knowledge of FAIRs would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communications skills and the ability to work well within a team
