SalaryRecruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.
For the successful Quality Inspector, our client is offering:
- Up to GBP14.50 per hour/ GBP30,160 per annum DOE
- Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm.
- Permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Productivity Bonus
- 22 days paid Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays

- Annual Christmas shutdown period 2 weeks

The Role - Quality Inspector;
- Ensuring manufactured products are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out internal process and product audits.
- Ensure everyone is working to right drawings/ standards,
- Utilising measuring tools and equipment
- Visible on the shop floor at all times
- Conducting final inspections on finished products before shipment.
- Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
What our client is looking for in a Quality Inspector:
- Minimum of 2 years Quality Assurance/ Inspection experience in hands on manufacturing environment- ESSENTIAL
- The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOP s ESSENTIAL
- Ability to use a tape measure and gauge ESSENTIAL
- Must be confident to provide technical direction on Quality Procedures to everyone on the shop floor and coach the Operators on SOP's
- Lean six sigma yellow belt or above- DESIRABLE
