Job description

The Growth Company’s (GC) Central Quality and Compliance team is looking for a Quality Lead.

The role will be to lead all aspects of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement which relate to services that deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, Supported Employment model or associated services. The principal purpose is to carry out internal IPS Fidelity Reviews and internal reviews using the Supported Employment Quality Framework, produce summary reports and then support continuous improvement in line with identified areas for improvement.

Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health and debt.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Deliver quality assurance activities, principally the delivery of internal reviews in line with the IPS Fidelity Scale and Supported Employment Quality Framework.
  • Monitor, evaluate and moderate the quality of provision. This includes carrying out observations of practice.
  • Undertake checks of action plans and other work products that evidence the quality the customer journey and experience.
  • Collect and analyse management information and evidence as required to feed into reviews.
  • Produce reports to summarise the results and findings of each review, with accompanying recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Report outcomes and action required and the production of development plans that drive up the quality of delivery including the identification of themes and issues.
  • Develop/source products, tools and resources to enhance service delivery including the delivery of training and workshops in line with continuous improvement plans.
  • Day to day contact with subcontractors/suppliers/staff, to manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate CPD.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports regarding quality and assessments/reviews that have been undertaken for the senior management team.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners.
  • Additional or alternative duties as reasonably required by the Company.
  • Work across multiple sites as required.

About You;

  • Have experience of delivering IPS or Supported Employment Services/Operational experience in quality assurance within a similar sector.
  • Undertaking observations of practice.
  • Experience of preparing and generating evidence for external inspections and reviews.
  • Assessor, IAG or teaching qualifications or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of developing and delivering training sessions.
  • Excellent observation and recording skills.

Skills Required;

  • Knowledge of the IPS Fidelity Scale and its use in quality assuring the delivery of services in a range of settings (Primary Care, Severe Mental Illness, Recovery/Drug & Alcohol).
  • Knowledge of the Supported Employment Quality Framework and its use in quality assuring the delivery of services.
  • Good knowledge of contractual quality requirements (ESFA, DWP etc.) and quality standards i.e. Ofsted, Matrix, ISO9001.
  • Assessor, IAG or teaching qualifications or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Excellent observation and recording skills.
