Established over 50 years ago, the business has a suite of cutting-edge production and quality control machinery producing fastener products for domestic and foreign markets. We work, generally on small batches across a diverse customer base, making our quality department a fast-paced working environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Manager to play a hands-on role in an expanding, dynamic quality department. The role would suit an applicant with an engineering background to work between production and commercial teams. Sitting on the senior management team the role would answer directly to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities and duties of a successful candidate would be;
Experience in the fastener industry itself would be a bonus. An engineering background is essential.
Management of the quality department and interaction with other areas of the business.
Acting as the company representative for quality, environmental, and health & safety systems.
Be proficient with ISO9001:2015/ ISO 14001:2004/ IOSH processes, documentation, and assessment.
Management of department-specific supplier and customer issues utilising current problem-solving techniques.
PPAP and FAIR submissions.
Excellent people and communications skills.
