Bedford or Kettering Campus Benefits: 35 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) Teachers Pension Retail and Lesuire Discounts About the role: We are looking for a Quality Manager- Apprenticeships to join our Quality and Professional Development Department. As a Manager you will play a pivotal role in the success of the college through: Implementing a range of quality initiatives, systems and processes in liaison with the Group Director of Quality Assurance, to deliver consistent improvements to the apprentice experience. Reviewing, monitoring and auditing procedures and systems and ensure that they are implemented effectively and consistently to drive continual improvement. Leading and taking forward new quality initiatives, designed to drive up standards in all apprenticeship provisions. Leading and supporting the Apprenticeship Team and Curriculum Departments in all aspects of quality assurance. Supporting the Quality Department in driving quality improvement and learning, teaching and assessment across the Group in apprenticeships. About you: Good all-round level of education to include Math's and English  Certificate in Education/PGCE or equivalent Degree or equivalent professional qualification Proven education management experience in Further Education (FE), and Apprenticeship provisions. Evidence of providing high quality effective in apprenticeship learning experience in all delivery environments. Experience of monitoring and driving improvement in apprenticeship progress. Evidence of understanding how to promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the job role Experience in co-ordinating quality improvement and development across apprenticeships with a consistent approach. Excellent communication skills both written and oral to work with staff at all levels both internally and externally to share information and influence use of quality improvement. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines working as an individual and as part of a team. About The Bedford College GroupThe Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
