Up to £60,000 + £6000 car allowance
As Quality Manager you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our organisation's quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards. Your primary responsibility will be to address non-conformances and develop effective corrective actions using 8D methodology. You will actively engage with customers and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Direct reports: Team of 5 (senior quality engineer, quality engineer, quality inspectors, system engineer)
• Ensure that all aspects of the company's operations comply with the requirements of ISO 9001 and 13485 including conducting internal audits and managing external audits.
• Track and analyse various quality metrics to measure the company's performance against its quality objectives. This may involve analysing customer feedback, conducting inspections, and managing non-conformities.
• Work with senior management to establish measurable quality objectives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Investigate the root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions to address the problem and prevent its recurrence.
• Responsible for managing customer complaints and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a customer-facing role
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485
• Manufacturing hands on background 
• Management/leadership experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Certification in Quality Engineering or related disciplines is a plus.
