We are looking for an exceptional Quality Manager with a strong background in the Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all quality assurance activities and initiatives within our Engineering & Manufacturing department.

Description
- Lead and manage all quality assurance activities within the Engineering & Manufacturing department
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications
- Work with the manufacturing team to identify and rectify quality-related issues
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters
- Manage and maintain the company's quality inspection, product release processes, and raw material inspection process
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Conduct audits, create reports, and recommend improvements
Profile
A successful Quality Manager should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and standards
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Strong leadership abilities and a results-driven approach
- Proven knowledge of Quality Assurances, procedures and specific
- Ability to influence and work efficiently with customers and colleagues of all levels
- Demonstrable experience in a medium to large fast-moving engineering / manufacturing safety critical company which will include experience in a first line management or supervisory position
- You will be used to working in a machining, precision engineering, metal component assembly, mechanical or heavy industrial environment
- Evidence of sound mechanical aptitude
- Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing (Green Belt standard as a minimum - preferable but not essential) and / or has demonstrated efficiency and cost improvements in a quality focused set-up
- Knowledge of statistical techniques, e.g., Regression, ANOVA, Capability, R&R
- Ability to influence, work and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues of all levels.
