Quality Practice Consultant

We have an exciting vacancy in our Practice Standards and Quality Team for a Quality Practice Consultant to join us. In this post you will have the opportunity to work across the whole service working with every part of Peterborough City Council’s Adult Social Care (ASC).
We are looking for an individual who is creative in their thinking about how we deliver the best service to our communities and support our frontline staff in their roles and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to be involved at every level of ASC operational work with shared teams including our Learning and Development, Customer Care Team and Business Intelligence.
You will lead the Practice Standards and Quality Team supporting them to carry out our quality assurance function, auditing practice, celebrating good practice and implementing improvements where required. You will work with individual service areas, mentoring teams and supporting our Principal Social Worker (PSW) with workshops covering systemic improvements.
The Practice Standards and Quality Team are responsible for all practice facing guidance giving the opportunity to research current best practice and legal case law to ensure we have the most up to date information available for practitioners.
This is a 37 hour post.
