Quality Process Technician

Up to £32,000

Yolk Recruitment is excited to support this exclusive recruitment campaign for a skilled Quality Process Technician. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and quality of our pyrometry processes. You will be the key link between Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to achieve our high standards and performance goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert inleading critical projects and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate with diverse teams to optimise furnace performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. This is what you'll be doing:

  • Oversee and ensure the pyrometry quality systems meet customer requirements.
  • Manage the quality control of thermocouples and other pyrometry equipment on-site.
  • Facilitate the calibration of pyrometry equipment.
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of consumables for pyrometry activities.
  • Support the NADCAP Special Process Manager during pre-audits and act as the Lead Auditee for pyrometry sections during onsite audits.
  • Review and update documentation to comply with current regulatory and internal requirements, working with the Quality Systems Engineer.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to implement a Total Productive Maintenance schedule for all furnaces and associated equipment on-site.
  • Analyse issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance furnace processes, procedures, and controls in accordance with customer specifications.

  • Great organisation skills.
