The Role/Candidate

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Co-ordinator to ensure the effective administration of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and document management systems.

In addition to working alongside our Compliance Director and HSQE Manager to ensure the successful implementation and compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, you will also work in conjunction with our IT team to configure and integrate Software Applications and systems into operational workflows to meet the needs of the business and in line with our IMS.

Duties will include:

  • Providing support, guidance, and expertise to ensure the IMS conforms to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • Working collaboratively with the Compliance Director and HSQE Manager to formulate and implement appropriate policies, processes, systems, procedures, and documentation to reduce risk and ensure conformity and consistency in quality, environmental and health & safety matters, in keeping with ISO standards.
  • Regularly reviewing policies, processes, systems, procedures, and documents to ensure they are up to date, relevant, controlled, and in line with best practice, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining records and registers relevant to the IMS, including but not restricted to the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), Continual Improvement, Aspects & Impacts, Legal & Other Requirements, Quality Assurance Record (QAR), Risk And Method Statements (RAMS), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Customer Feedback and Waste Carrier registers.
  • Planning and managing the internal audit schedule and coordinating external audits.
  • Overseeing and monitoring corrective and preventative action (CAPA) reports.
  • Developing and implementing customised SharePoint sites to manage and share content and resources across the business.
  • Utilising Software Applications to create digital forms and workflows tailored to suit business requirements.
  • Working with various departments to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

You must have a solid working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, experience of conducting internal audits, and previous experience within a similar role, preferably within an engineering/ manufacturing environment. Strong IT skills would be a distinct advantage, although more importantly, you should be a self-motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn. You should possess the creativity to design intuitive and user friendly Sharepoint sites and mobile apps, have good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Hours/Location/Salary

Location: Wingates Industrial Park, Westhoughton, Bolton

Salary: £28,000 to £31,000 per annum

Hours Of Work: 37.5 per week
