Form of workOur client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Systems Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that the business remains compliant to it's QMS.
Hours of work will be Days (Monday to Friday)
Salary up to £45,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package.
Reporting directly to the QMS Manager , your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and undertake of audits to ensure products and processes remain compliant
- Raise NCR's for any non-compliance and log report.
- Assist in resolving any non conformity and take steps to ensure no re-occurrence
- Represent the company during external audits from customers
- Work with colleagues in the inspection of products prior to despatch
- Assist in non-conformance investigations
- Endorse documentation as required
To be successful in the role of Quality Systems Engineer you will hold the following skills and experience;
- Experienced in quality engineering with the aerospace industry
- A forging or hot metal forming background
- Knowledge and able to use EFACS or a similar software system
- A strong understanding of AS9100 and aerospace prime supplier requirements
- Able to work flexibly and meet deadlines
- Excellent communicator at all levels
This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
