Not to sugar coat it but you must have knowledge of the UK Food industry, manufacturing procedures and standards for this role.
As an experienced Quality Systems Technologist, you will have exposure to retailer COP’s, systems, HACCP, TACCP and VACCP. A minimum of a level 3 Food hygiene/Food safety/HACCP qualifications is essential for this role as well as internal audit experience. You will also be experienced in developing procedures, policies and SOPs.
Below are a few responsibilities you will be undertaking:
- Effectively management and maintain complaint handling
- Maintain accreditation standards, licensing, and certification renewals
- Aid with the preparation and coordination of visits and external audits
- Develop and maintain technical schedules to ensure timely completion of all predetermined technical activities
- Complete customer questionnaires
- Manage non-conformance process to ensure effective and timely closure of issues, complaints and supplier OOS
Are you computer literate? Do you pay high attention to detail? A great communicator? (Verbal and written) Excellent organisational skills? Have in depth knowledge of BRC Food Standards? Qualified to degree level in a food related subject or equivalent standards? (desirable)
