A Quality Technician is needed for an exciting materials specialist in North Yorkshire. This company is only just at the beginning of its journey and is growing so it’s a great time to join. As a Quality Technician, you will work on a site that is one of a kind in the UK. you'll play a key role in executing and supervising testing functions, collaborating with clients in three key areas of testing.
The right Quality Technician will ideally come from a Quality background but most importantly be able to work methodically and follow a system and process.
Responsibilities as a Quality Technician
·Co-ordinate samples before testing
·Help improve processes
·Help maintain the QMS
·Support accreditation to ISO 17025.
·Manage on-site client teams for a safe testing environment.
·Ensure consistency in report writing across testing areas.
·Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
·Contribute to major project planning and implementation.
·Provide expert advice to clients, handling day-to-day inquiries.
·Use DIY skills to prepare the testing environment.
Requirements:
·Proven ability to understand and follow a process
·Understanding of ISO 17025 (training provided).
·Familiarity with UK building regulations (training provided).
·Knowledge of test methods and standards (training provided).
·Excellent report writing and communication skills.
·Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
·Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
·Hardworking, self-motivated, and a team player.
