Quantitative Developer (Python SQL) London / WFH to £150k+
Are you a Quantitative Developer with strong Python and SQL coding skills combined with experience of working in a Futures / FX trading buy-side environment?
You could be progressing your career working on complex, real-time systems at a global Systematic Trading firm, with continual learning, development and problem solving opportunities.
As a Quantitative Developer you'll build components for both live trading and simulation, refining and increasing automation and robustness of the research infrastructure including alpha estimation, risk modelling and back-testing.
You'll be using Python and SQL to maintain and update the research platform, ensuring its stability, robustness and security as well as developing robust data checking and storage procedures and troubleshooting / resolving any systems related issues, code fixes and enhancements.
Location / WFH:
You'll join a highly talented team in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
Requirements:
You are a Quantitative Developer with experience of designing and developing research and live trading infrastructure at a buy-side firm (i.e. Hedge Fund or trading company), including experience in Futures and FX
You have expertise with Python
You're fluent with SQL and have experience with database design and large data sets
You have experience handling connections to execution / trade order management systems
You're collaborative with excellent English language communication skills
You are degree educated, likely to MSc / PhD level - Computer Science or Quantitative discipline
