Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of high-value projects throughout the North-West region. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Tendering and Procurement: Develop tender documents, assess contractor bids, and oversee the procurement process.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, including preparing and issuing interim valuations, assessing variations, and agreeing on final accounts.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Financial Reporting: Produce detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for senior management.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the building services industry.
- Strong background in managing high-value projects, particularly in the North-West region.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts and relevant legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field..
