Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of construction projects. Your expertise in cost control and project management will contribute to the overall efficiency and profitability of our organization. Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects - Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements - Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities - Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports - Evaluate contractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements - Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships - Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities - Prepare final accounts and handle any contractual disputes or claims Experience: - Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques - Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
