You will be working with a leading UK civil contractor, who specialise in engineering and early-stage construction projects. You will join a team of skilled designers, engineers and project managers working across the commercial, residential and civil sectors.

Your new role
As a Groundworks and Civil Engineer Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our projects across London. Your responsibilities will include:
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with project teams to estimate costs accurately for groundworks and civil engineering activities.
Contract Management: Ensure adherence to contract terms, monitor variations, and manage change orders.
Budget Control: Track project expenses, analyse cost reports, and implement cost-saving measures.
Quantity Measurement: Accurately measure quantities of materials and work completed.
Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records related to costs, payments, and contractual agreements.

What you\'ll need to succeed
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and quantity measurement.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
