We are looking for two Quantity Surveyors to join our team on a permanent basis, working 36 hours per week.

An outstanding opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Estates Department and make a genuine difference to the services we provide.
You will be providing quantity surveying services to the Building Conservation, National Project, Estate Management and Development teams for a wide range of activities to support projects and strategic procurements.
You will act as the primary point of contact to either the National Project team or Estate Management team. You will provide in house client side quantity surveying support and develop our charity wide quantity surveying processes, practices and procedures.
The Estates Department is the heart of conservation at English Heritage. We keep our sites safe, accessible and operational for over 10 million visitors a year and we conserve our historic buildings, monuments and landscapes for the nation and for future generations. We have the necessary professional construction expertise to develop and deliver conservation maintenance and enhancement projects to the highest standards and in accordance with established technical policy, industry standards and specialist guidance.
There will be opportunities to work with highly skilled experts in all areas of the business, developing your knowledge of the Charity and special challenges that are posed by working with historic buildings and on projects that involve heritage craft trades.

We are looking for a self-motivated Quantity Surveyor with excellent management and technical skills to work for this prestigious charity.
As our Quantity Surveyor with client side experience of working on conservation, refurbishment, maintenance and repair projects you will provide quantity surveying services and advice to the charity.
To be considered as a Quantity Surveyor, you will need:
Client side experience of working on conservation, refurbishment, maintenance and repair projects.
To be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), have a degree or final diploma in quantity surveying with relevant knowledge and experience of economic, legal, technical and managerial quantity surveying skills and be skilled in commercial negotiations.
