We are looking for Quantity Surveyors with highways and civils experience to join a large engineering consultancy in Bristol & Exeter. These are contract opportunities with a duration of 12 months and an immediate start.
The Quantity Surveyor will be providing post contract and commercial experience to a major client on a highways project procured under the NEC4 contract. Some of the Quantity Surveyors duties will include:
- Collecting data, analyse and define the needs of the client and their various stakeholders
- Produce benchmarking reports that promote value for money and identify trends
- Ensure all reported data is accurate and up to date
- Promote innovation within both the consultant and client teams
- Provide commercial advice to the wider project team
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need experience in post contract commercial management and previous experience working on highways or infrastructure projects. You'll need a strong understanding of the NEC contract alongside excellent communication skills.
This is a contract opportunity to help with an increasing pipeline of work. The contract will run for around 12 months and offers a day rate of £330 per day, inside of IR35.
