Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Hampshire, UK
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises.
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare and analyse costings for tenders and contracts.
• Manage contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions.
• Monitor and report on project progress, managing any variations or changes.
• Prepare and submit final accounts.
• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably within civils and groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred.
