Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Team/Strategic Construction Partnership projects team for the role of Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the commercial team by carrying out financial management and performance reporting of our Strategic Construction Partners and in-house maintenance teams.
- Support the management of the Strategic Construction Partnerships through open-book cost management, providing cost plans, target costs, bills of quantities, schedules of work and Task Orders.
- Maximise value for money in the services provided by our in-house teams by providing accurate job costing, forecasting, and maximising income.
- Provide robust commercial management of operational overheads.
- Support the procurement of contractors and suppliers ensuring financial appraisals are undertaken and schedules of rates are appropriate to ensure value for money.
About you:
- Do you have a degree in Quantity Surveying or other construction related discipline?
- Have you managed or reviewed operations of in-house maintenance organisations?
- Can you undertake robust financial and performance appraisals of in-house maintenance organisations?
- Do you have experience of procuring works and, or material supply contracts?
