As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Quantity Surveyor at, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with a main contractor, coupled with specific expertise in roofing projects. Reporting to the Senior Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
- Managing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, variations, and cost reports.
- Negotiating and agreeing on contracts and variations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Providing expert advice on contractual claims and disputes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
- Proven experience in roofing projects is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
