Quantity Surveyor - Steel Fabrication

Location: Dover
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + Bonus after the probationary period
Type: Full-Time, Fully Office-Based

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for Steel Fabrication projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and performance reporting for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budget management.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with budget estimates.
• Provide regular financial progress reports and advice on cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction, marine, or engineering sectors, with a focus on Steel Fabrication projects.
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and quantity surveying tools.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
