Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a post-contract role focusing on significant upgrades and modifications to key infrastructure. The role is based in Plymouth with hybrid working available. There will also be some travel to Bristol every now and then.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct post-contract Quantity Surveying activities.
- Evaluate defined costs and perform defined cost audits.
- Develop contract outturn forecasts.
- Assess Compensation Events & Quotations.
Skills & Behaviours:
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a challenging commercial environment.
- Experience working with various stakeholders, including Clients, Prime Contractors, Delivery Partners, Main Works Contractors, Design Houses, and the wider Supply Chain.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Sole UK National with SC clearance.
- Relevant Degree & Professional affiliation.
- Experience with NEC3 or 4 ECC contracts, particularly under Main Option E.
- Advantageous to have experience in heavy civils construction in a high hazard and regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Single Source Contracting Regulations and the AAR Requirements is beneficial.
