Our client is looking for a QS to join the rapidly growing team, and to be based in the Northwest, but with a head office location of Salford, Greater Manchester
Our client is a well-established contractor, whose values are to put the customer first while maintaining outstanding H&S with a sustainable business plan aimed at longevity. With their turnover increasing by nearly a third since 2021.
Specialists in Civil engineering, they have won strategic new contracts in the last 12 months and as such their growth invites new challenges and a need for new members of the team.
To support their continued expansion plans, they are recruiting for the position of a Quantity Surveyor for their business. This role will cover our current and planned pipeline and will also support the business with its strategic growth plans.
About the Role:
- Attend Pre-Construction Meetings.
- External Applications for Payment/Invoicing.
- Reconcile client payments.
- Price Variations / Design Changes etc.
- Complete Final Accounts.
- Quarterly Internal Cost Valuations & CTC.
- Develop internal costing system - Eque2 software package.
About the Person:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly computer literate especially with Microsoft Excel.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Minimum HNC in Construction/Civil Engineering.
