Key Responsibilities
Working with our fantastic operations teams, we’re recruiting for a Quarry Operative for our West Deeping Quarry near Peterborough. You’ll have the opportunity to turn your hand to operating other mobile plant; you'll primarily be operating the loading shovel, and a variety of other jobs in the quarry including supporting with plant maintenance activities on occasion. You’ll be an ideal fit for this position if you have a great sense of humour and don’t mind getting your hands dirty!
Do you have?
- A full UK Driving Licence – owing to the location of the quarry you will need to be able to drive your own vehicle or otherwise be able to reliably get yourself to work on time.
- A genuine interest in the construction materials industry, specifically an interest in driving heavy mobile plant machinery.
