Quote Coordinator

Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installers of high-end acoustic blinds, curtains and window shadings into commercial construction and refurbishment projects. They work with some of the biggest brands in the market such as; Apple, Netflix and The BBC.  They have an exciting career opportunity for a Quote Coordinator to join the business.

The Role of the Quote Co-ordinator (Assistant Estimator)

The Quote co-ordination team are at the forefront, working closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers to achieve successful project delivery. The primary responsibility of this role will be managing client expectations, generating costings and submitting quotations to Enterprise clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Processing incoming enquiries.
• Generating estimates/costs and submitting quotations that are accurate, timely and meet client requirements with values from £100 - £100k
• Drawing take-offs, scaling and mark-ups.
• Managing the quote process from initial request to final submission.
• Maintaining records of all quotes and ensure they are up to date.
• Communication with internal teams, clients and suppliers
•  Co-ordinate pre-order activities and administrative tasks related to the project.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Outlook
• Highly proficient in numeracy
• Methodical with great attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
• Strong organisational skills
• Able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to respond to change and apply lateral thinking.
• Epicor, Bluebeam & Sharepoint an advantage but not essential
