SalaryRAC in conjunction with North London Garages have exciting opportunities for Apprentice Roadside Technicians. The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider - a people-powered business of 4,000 'Orange Heroes' delivering the best-in-class motoring services for both private and business drivers.
During your apprenticeship programme you will complete a mix of both college learning and on the job training. This role will provide much more than just how to be a mechanic!
Successful candidates will by employed by the RAC and will attend college on a block basis in Enfield, working towards achieving your Level 2 Auto Care Technician apprenticeship.
You will have training and exposure to real life breakdown situations, these will require you to offer roadside assistance, follow diagnostic and repair procedures, communicate with our customers and aiming to get our customers back on the road.
One of North London Garages Training Officers will visit you and monitor / assess your competence regularly. This is part of our close support network NLG provides to ensure that apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course.
Functional skills math or English if needed.
