The Role

Our client is looking for a Racking Supervisor who has ideally come from an industrial and commercial warehouse solutions background.

Duties

• Conduct thorough site surveys to assess existing racking systems and storage solutions.
• Evaluate the overall layout and design of warehouse spaces to create a layout drawing.
• Analyse and document the current manufacturer of racking systems.
• Create comprehensive reports outlining survey findings and implementation plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site surveys, measurements, and relevant data.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations.
• Liaise with the customer to gather information on the systems installed.

Skills and Experience

• Rack awareness training.
• SARI trained (Desirable).
• Wide knowledge of different storage systems and manufacturers.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, racking systems, or logistics.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards related to racking and storage systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using survey tools, CAD software, and other relevant technology.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to manage own diary with excellent time management skills
