Rates Analyst

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and friendly company based in Chippenham. Due to increased business levels, they are recruiting aRates Analystto join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

The role of Rates Analyst involves gathering information from external stakeholders regarding business rates and then able to interpret the figures in order to build a business case, that will result in business rate reduction and refunds.

Typical duties to include:

• Extensive Internet Research on business premises.
• Build cases for business rates and refunds and cross check accuracy.
• Interpretation and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets

What you will need to succeed:

• Able to speak to speak to internal / external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, with particular focus on analysing figures and putting together business cases.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Degree or A Level educated in Business or Finance would be highly desirable.

What you will receive in return:

• Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 with an hour for lunch.
• Hybrid 3 days in the office - 2 days Remote
• £25,000 per annum
