Science Solutions are looking to recruit an R&D Technician for one of our clients based in the Cambridgeshire area.
In order to be considered for the role as an R&D Technician you must have previous experience in working in an R&D environment. Ideally a materials or chemistry lab.
As an R&D Technician you will be responsible for daily running of production operations and lab work.
Role requirements:
- Previous industrial experience in an R&D environment is essential for the role.
- Be willing to get stuck into a growing R&D team who are responsible for scaling up their innovative technology within the business.
- Any knowledge of mechanical engineering is highly advantageous for the role.
- Previous experience of working with or handling Graphene is also highly advantageous.
- Any applicant must also be happy with the physical side of working in the lab as the role will involve deep cleaning of various lab equipment including chambers.
Role responsibilities:
- Ensure the R&D laboratory is kept clean, tidy and well stocked for the scientists and engineers.
- Daily cleaning of reactor chambers, fully PPE and respirators provided on a daily basis.
- Work alongside other members of R&D and assist as and when required.
