R.E Teacher

- Salary: £27,000 - £45,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are seeking a dedicated R.E Teacher to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for religious education and a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Religious Education to students of varying abilities.
- Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
- Monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Creating a positive learning environment that accommodates students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in religious education, such as a degree in Theology or Religious Studies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in a relevant subject area.
- Prior experience teaching R.E at the secondary education level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and pedagogical theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
