In return for your tail-wagging dedication, we offer a competitive wage of £12.26 per hour plus a shift premium of 20% (£14.71 per hour) base salary is £26,222, with 20% (£31,467)

A bit about the role
You might know this role as a Reach Truck Driver, FLT Driver, or Forklift Driver, but in Butternut there is so much more to the role than just driving, below are just a few of the things you can expect to be doing in the role.
In this you will use a variety of different equipment on a day-to-day basis, this includes Reach truck cabbed and uncabbed, PPTs, and a counterbalance with manual handling involved. This role is not solely truck based. You will work in a variety of areas including the outbound freezer, inbound freezer, and intake dockside, with a little bit of outside work included, don't worry we provide the PPE. This role includes manual handling, bending, lifting and carrying (up to 25kg).

• Operate mechanical handling equipment: Reach Truck, occasionally counterbalance and ride-on forklift trucks (Our chillers and freezers are 10m fully racked warehouses)
• Ensuring the safe and accurate movement of all pallets throughout the warehouse
• Conduct quality checks ensuring that we meet product specifications.
• Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures and wearing protective equipment correctly at all times
• Other general tasks waste processing, order packing etc
• Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators
• Daily use of SAP or equivalent WMS system
• Handle inbound, picking, storage and dispatch of goods using our warehouse management system
• Ensuring the safe and accurate movement of all pallets throughout the warehouse
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be a strong commutator
• Labelling pallets and stock
• Stock count and systems transactions
• General facility hygiene - floors, walls and conveyors etc. and working in a manner that epitomises 'clean as you go'

Located in Doncaster, Rudie's Kitchen is where our Butternut meals (we currently have 12 recipes) will be gently cooked, using human-quality ingredients. Rudie's is also where we will be packaging our meals and boxing them for our customers all over the UK. We are a close nit team, with a that family feel, looking to welcome more like minded people to our lovely team and keep work life fun and enjoyable.
We are pleased to say, this is a full-time permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 41 hours per week working on a shift rotation with a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working. The working shifts days consisting of 7am to 7pm and nights consisting of 7pm-7am.
Such as:

• 4 on/ 4 off = 2 day, 2 nights
• 5 on, 5 off = 3 days, 2 nights
• 5 on, 5 off = 2 days, 3 nights

• A bit about you*

• Previous experience with Reach Truck, Counterbalance and PPT or LLOP are essential
• Confident in the use of warehouse IT equipment
• Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -40 degrees and outside yard work (changing weather conditions)
• Able to be adaptable to an ever changing work environment with varied roles and responsibilities that can differ day to day
• Working level of speaking English
• Ability to read English
• Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers)
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment
• Comfortable working in an environment that processes raw protein

• This role is 100% based in our kitchen in Blyth, Doncaster (just off the Junction of A1(M) and A614 Hill Top Roundabout, Blyth S81 8HG)
