We have a rare opportunity to recruit into our central Premier Marinas Estates Team, offering a broad role that will support the team in all matters relating to the management and administration of the Group's property portfolio.
This person will be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders including tenants, solicitors, agents and local authorities. They will be responsible for administration and liaison between tenants and colleagues to ensure the team's property management efficiency, including new lettings, lease renewals, service charges, HSE property compliance and rent reviews. They will be responsible for maintaining electronic and paper records relating to property, use of utilities/services and compliance.
Personal Profile:
The ideal candidate will need to be an excellent communicator and have an understanding of property management.
We value the diversity of thinking and ideas which can be gained from outside our own industry, so whilst a familiarity with the marine business is desirable, career experience in the industry is not essential. Property management experience and/or knowledge is necessary.
The candidate must have experience with business support IT systems and an intermediate level of competence with Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working as part of a property management team dealing with new and renewed lease set up, service charge and rent administration and maintenance projects.
Whilst the role is based at our Head Office in Swanwick Marina, there will be a requirement to work from our various marina sites supporting both the Estates and Marina teams and therefore a full driver's license is required.
A competitive salary, free onsite parking, Private Medical Cover, access to an Online GP service 7 days a week and discounted berthing are just some of the benefits on offer, alongside training and development opportunities delivered through our dedicated online academy.
We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from a diverse range of individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships. We believe that diverse talent makes us stronger and are proud to be an 'Investors in People' accredited organisation.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. Our Applicant Privacy Policy is available on our website.
The closing date for applications is Friday 12th January 2024 but we reserve the right to appoint an ideal candidate prior to the closing date.
