Job Description
- Our client is looking for a Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their growing team; someone capable to handle Real Estate modelling tasks, but who can also engage with the senior leaders and articulate investment ideas in IC meetings. This is a great opportunity for those with good Real Estate / Financial numeracy skills to become hands-on involved with deals.
- Our client is looking for someone to:
- Conduct market research on new investment markets and opportunities across all sectors (Commercial Real Estate, Logistics, Alternatives, Living / Build to Rent / Residential, Life Sciences, Data Centres, Hospitality / Retail / F&B).
- DCF modelling, analysis and report writing for new investment opportunities, managing Due Diligence processes.
- Attend asset tours to source data on completed transactions, lease deals and developments, gaining experience of multiple regional markets.
- Support preparation of any reports to capital partners with a particular focus on succinct writing and attention to detail.
The Successful Applicant
- Have c.1-3 years of Real Estate Investment experience ideally having worked on Value-Add and Opportunistic deals.
- Have strong mathematical / analytic experience - good knowledge and understanding writing basic code in Excel for DCF / IRR / NPV and other Real Estate calculations for appraisals.
- Need very high attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
- Have a Real Estate / Built Environment or Finance / Accounting degree.
- Ideally have an IMC / MRICS / CFA / CAIA / ACA qualification or working towards.
- Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Be passionate, collaborative and team-oriented
