Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team working in a vibrant primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of special education and supply your knowledge and skills in a practical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Assess and monitor the progress of students with SEN and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Offer emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them to develop social and emotional skills.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student's progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different educational settings.
