Reception Administrator
Based in Haddington
£12 - £12.65 per hour + holiday pay
Reed Business Support are pleased to be working with a Non-Profit based in Haddington who are looking to a recruit a Reception Administrator on a temporary basis until at least the end of August. In the role, you will be responsible for working on a shared reception desk, communicating with customers, and providing general administrative support.

- Mon - Thu (9am - 4:30pm) Fri (9am - 4pm)
- 35 hours per week
- Office based
- Start date: ASAP
Key responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls to the office, providing support where possible or passing to the relevant member of staff (15 - 20 calls per day)
- Helping to manage to the shared office inbox
- Handling incoming post and passing to the relevant team
- Scanning and filing documents
- Dealing with room booking system
- Printing documents
- Ordering supplies and stationary for the office
- Dealing with mail merges and communications to customers
- Entering information on Excel spreadsheets
- Dealing with limited face-to-face enquires, occasionally taking payments from customers
- Maintaining a clean, tidy reception area
- Various ad hoc admin duties
Person specifications:
- Previous experience working as an Administrator, or in a similar role
- Previous experience dealing with customers in some capacity
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with members of the public
- Good organisational skills
- Good IT skills - mainly Microsoft Office
