I am currently recruiting for a Receptionist/ Clerical Administrator to work on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Barnsley (S70).
You will support their early start and families service.
Duties will include:
- Using MI systems information to follow up on outcomes of work and recording in line with system procedures.
- Support service staff with the archiving of records in line with our retention schedule.
- To ensure all visitors are welcomed in a positive, respectful and responsive manner.
- To prepare invoices when appropriate, ensuring that payments are reconciled and monies regularly banked.
- To facilitate meetings as and when required with production of accurate and concise minutes, preparation of agendas and any other documentation required.
- Responsible for meeting room bookings, preparation of meeting rooms, clearing of meeting rooms and room security.
- Responsibility for monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience of working in a people focused environment both face to face and on the telephone
- Experience of using Microsoft packages including Outlook/Word/Publisher/Excel
- Experience of working closely to set budgets & targets
- Experience of working in administration
This role is 37 hours per week, with a pay rate of £11.18 per hour PAYE.
