We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reception Supervisor to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott – Luton Airport. This role is pivotal to our Lighthouse Hotel Management's success, and we are committed to providing a competitive package that reflects the candidate's skills and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £25,800 per annum.
The Reception Supervisor will be responsible for managing the reception desk and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of experience in the catering and hospitality industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greeting guests and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
Ensuring that reception desks are kept clean and tidy.
Managing bookings, payments, and cancellations.
Ensuring that all guests are provided with the highest level of customer service.
Monitoring and maintaining the security of the premises.
Ensuring that all reception staff adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures.
Providing training and guidance to reception staff.
Ensuring that the reception area is well-stocked with supplies.
Maintaining accurate records of guest bookings and payments.
Assisting with any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
