Job Title: Reception Teacher

Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join an expanding team at a primary school in Barking and Dagenham, London. This is an exciting opportunity to work part of a growing school! As a Reception Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in acting as a positive role model to students, shaping the educational journey of our students and fostering a love for learning. This is a full-time post commencing at the end of March 2024 and lasting until the end of the academic year. There is also potential to extend into September for the right candidate. You will be supported by a very experienced year group lead and will have a class TA.
Due to the long-term nature of the post, pay rates between £188 - £244 will be on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Reception students, including collaborative planning with the Reception Teacher of the other class.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and collaboration.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a supportive home-school partnership.
- Foster the holistic development of students, including their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- At least two years' experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning.
